I don't really feel like reading about energy yet (this one's for STS and not ChE for once but com'n, its all I EVEEERRRRRRR do), so I decided to write you guys up another spam post!

And because I'm really into it today, I nitpicked through today's servings so you will only have to read the most relevant and what is IMO actually worth reading—I admit, some of the stuff I posted before are complete blah.

So, put on those reading glasses and enjoy!

► Boracay is the 26th Place to Go in 2009

"The next Phuket? The island jewel of Boracay — known for its emerald water, white sand beaches and glassy lagoons — may be just that. Less than an hour from Manila by plane, this small, four-mile-long island has long been a destination for wealthy Filipinos. Now, a new breed of South Beach-style hotels is broadening the island's appeal. The Tides, a chic boutique hotel, has quickly become the pool-and-party spot for the Philippine jet set. love
I bought a new laptop over Christmas break. The old one and I just didn't get along, especially since I accidentally fried its motherboard (its doing better now, thank you for asking) prior to the break. SAY HELLO to the new one.

Yes, it is huge. No, I don't mind. In spite of the size, it is surprisingly as light, maybe even lighter than the old one. And that size may also be the reason why the two of us are getting along quite well. It feels more like a desktop than a laptop, which is a plus for me since laptops and I have a well-documented (by my classmates) need-want relationship; I often need to bring a laptop to school, but laptops hate me.

Its also handling my insane amount of simultaneously open programs okay. I can't say its handling is perfect, but its certainly doing better than a lot of other laptops out there. Most laptops, even desktops, crash when I try to open my pdf'd journals, games, web messenger, ms office programs, pdf creator, games, plot digitizer, equipment price calculator, web browser, and games all at the same time.

I have just one tiny complaint:

Fire razes PSHS

From what I've heard it was because of faulty wiring of the faculty's refrigerator. There are post-fire pictures circulating the net, or just tune in to the news, its prolly there.

Just read the article and if you know me well enough you'd know why I'm spooked. I mean, hello? UP Village pa nga lang na-spook na ako.
