love
I decided to give Miss Gala's TiLT posts a try because... well, just because! I want to share the love? No, not this selfish brat. To remain positive? Maybe. To distract myself from school? DING.DING.DING.

AHAHAHA. Damn these free-session games that come with a new laptop. I got sooooooooooooo addicted to playing this RPG (it reminds me too much of my Ragnarok days, oh shame) that I spent nights without sleep, which triggered a positive feedback mechanism: totally ruined my bio clock and now I just sleep all day and stay up all night. I still luv it though, heh.

I guess its my vice.

Some people drink. Some people smoke.

I study make-up.

Its not something I really need. It does me more harm than good.

But it keeps me sane.

double-headed
In the grocery earlier today, I stopped by the skincare aisle to look up the local soaps, lotions & whatever potions I've been reading about in various beauty blogs (yes, its my vice). I picked one up and tossed it into the cart thinking, "It's only P17, what harm can it do?"

My mom saw the ubiquitous item amidst the kids' baon, this week's loaf of bread, and a bunch of canned goods (because seriously, our house can be like boot camp sometimes) and starts telling me stories by officemates, relatives, and other random people I don't know who used the same product.

Later while waiting in line to pay, I see another soap and lotion in the cart, whose price in total is already comparable to imported brands.

Me: "Ma... eh?"
Mom: "I think they'll help!"
Me: "But maaaa, if I start using all of these at the same time and I turn out to be allergic to one of them, its gonna be hard to find the culprit!"
Mom: "They're all the same brand anyway. I think."
Me: *shakes head* "Ma, sinusuportahan mo talaga kakikayan ko no?"
Mom: "Dapat lang. Kikay din ako eh... matanda na nga lang."

LOLZ.

:D
Chances are if you're a guy you'd have no interest in reading this entry. But you've already read this far anyway, so why not continue?

If you check the calendar to the left, you'd see that the last time I blogged was the 2nd of this month--the longest blog hiatus I've had for a while (if ever; I'm too lazy to confirm the archives). It's the typical excuse of being academically busy, but this time I have proof: the younger members of our organization are often commenting how I always seem to be doing something, whether in campus or when they catch me online, so much so that it's been used as a description in the apps' sig sheet. I've actually tried blogging in three separate occassions, but in all three times I didn't get beyond the first few lines because I didn't feel it was worth your (and more importantly MY) time. This one isn't either, but I'm actually in the mood to write it.

Today though was the last of my long exams for the semester (technically there's still the take-home exam for ChE 123, but it's take-home), so I really felt the need to de-stress. My card was sending ESPs of "retail therapy", and Leanne was game, so off to Trinoma we went.

Trinoma. It's such a frustration for me. I've tried looking for clothes and shoes here but didn't find stuff I liked. I do like the variety of shops, how close it is to both UP and my home, and how less populated it is relative to SM, so I still end up here often. That's why this time Leanne and I went kikay shopping; technically *I* went beauty shopping and Leanne tagged along--but she did so willingly! :D Here are some stuff I picked up along the way:
