12 JANUARY "I Am Spiderwoman" And in true danna-fashion, I was sitting there right upfront (as in sa tapat ni ma'am, katabi ng LCD) showcasing the flexibility of my fingers to my seatmates--when ma'am suddenly shouted excitedly through the microphone, "Like this! Like this!" pointing to what I was doing with my hands. Over the course of the next few slides, Ma'am instructed me to try everything the pictures showed, in which YES, I succeeded.

12 FEBRUARY "Robotic Ramblings" i feel like i'm a robot. ayun. though that's a paradox, kasi nga robots aren't supposed to feel, pero let's try to see past that and address the issue at hand: bakit nga ba ako nagkakaganito?

8 MARCH "Part-time Job" As most of you may know, I have a lot of material wants. As all of you know, these wants need money. As some of you may know, one of my greatest fears is bankruptcy. As very few of you may know, money is used for blackmail in my household.

10 APRIL "Do I Look Promiscuous to You?" Receptionist: asks for approval of the procedure through a walkie-talkie turns to me (in loudspeaker mode, loud enough to be heard by everyone in the waiting room) Ma'am, are you SURE you're not pregnant?

19 MAY "Nagpagupit ako kahapon," Oh well. If I'll have to work a hairstyle, it might as well be a cute ninja's.

7 JUNE "And this is where the twist in our story is revealed..." ...that the heroine in our story is actually the villain.

9 JULY "`Tis a love-hate relationship" I hate failure. I love sleep. I dislike the feeling of constantly chasing after time. Good thing though, I like coffee. And Marbella Chocolate Cappucino Cookies. I'm on a caffeine high.

8 AUGUST "Some musings" I like rain, I swear I do. The pitter-patter has a calming effect, the air smells the tiniest bit cleaner, and the world suddenly takes on some mood lighting. [Cue emo moment]

9 SEPTEMBER "Life is..." ...all a matter of jumping from mushroom to mushroom.

24 OCTOBER "What you don't know can't hurt you," I've always been one who does not care to tread in territories the other party might prove sensitive to, so I've never asked. I've never shown curiosity. I'd listen when my aunt (my mom's cousin) would tell stories during those times she's in our house, taking a break from watching over her father at the hospital, but just listen. Even then I wouldn't feign interest. I'd just genuinely listen, in hopes that she'd--even if by accident--tell me the things I needed to know without me asking for them.

18 NOVEMBER "Of the darndest things" "`Te Dang, when you grow old, can I pull your hair out?" Err, WHAT?

26 DECEMBER "Taoism, part 2" I think two words are in order here: Inner. Strength. Its so easy to play the blame game or sulk in self-pity, but in order to get through obstacles in life, you'll need willpower to move on, be at peace with yourself, and find confidence in that.
